Fashion Trends BTOWN celebs are flaunting Chapter 1 - Whats YAY and Whats NAY this season

I have no embarrassment in declaring that I do follow Bollywood fashion trends and keep myself updated. In this era of Social Networking our favorite stars have come quite close to their fans and followers via Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and of course the most popular social networking site Facebook. They are getting snapped almost everywhere starting from their airport trips to their shooting sets and yep that has proved to be quite advantageous to us, the fashion lovers who are getting their daily dose of  style info from these Social Apps. So after voraciously following my favourite B Town celebs, I thought of jotting down the lists of fashion trends that are quite in and hit this season.

 Army prints

 We spotted our stylish and trendy Bollywood diva Alia Bhatt wearing a strappy super cute Army print dress with olive green pumps  during the promotion days of her  recent movie Shandaar.


We spotted the Micky Virus famous Bollywood beauty Elli Avram in a geek look wearing big clear glasses and a comfy yet trendy play suit in army print. She again wore army paints with an olive vest to the premiere of Tere Bin Laden 2.

Our all time favourite style icon Jacqueline Fernandaz was spotted wearing an oversized army print jacket paired up with black slim fit denim, and that splendid smile of her have always made us fall for her beauty and her style statements.


Although their ways have parted away recently but they still seem to be following the same fashion trend. We recently spotted Katrina wearing a cargo army paint with a black tshirt and she is looking casual and stylish. Again her ex beau was also spotted wearing an army sweatshirt and a NY baseball cap during their family lunch of christmas, well Katrina also looked very elegant in white. We wish they get back together again. 


The Kapoor and Sons actor Siddharth Malhotra was spotted recently in his airport trip for the movie promotions wearing an army print jacket with a casual tee and a distressed denim.Well there is no need to say that we looked stunning as always.
Knee Slit Denims

 Knee slits and distressed denims are seem to be quite popular among the Btown beauties.They look edgy, raw and if styled right they look oh so chic! .Here are some fashionistas who styled the distress denim and carried it effortlessly well!
We spotted SRK's better half Gauri Khan in a light blue knee slit denim paired with a casual white for a sleek and comfy look. She looks chic and elegant as aways.

Our most favourite actress and the trend setter Deepika Padukone as paired her knee slit distressed denim with a sequin top and a white shoes to make casual yet party statement. 

 The all time stylish 90's diva Sonali Bindre was also spotted coming out of the airport in a distressed knee slit denim paired with a crisp white shirt.This is what we called "casually elegant".

The youth style icon Alia Bhatt was also spotted in the promotions of her movie SHANDAAR wearing a knee slit denim and a shirt tee, paired up with red strappy sandals. She looked so chic and peppy.

Where as Katrina choose to be simple and casual in a white knee slit denim with check shirts and black leather booties while making her way out of the airport.
The NH10 star Anushka Sharma has always sported a sporty chic look, be it the knee slit denim with stripes tee and leather jacket or the basic tea with a distressed denim, she has always made us believe although that she follows the fashion trends yet she has got her very own unique style statements.
Monochrome & Stripes

Monochromes have again made their come back in Bollywood fashion world and we are loving it. Be it Alia's Off shoulder tee,Sonam's fit n flare dress or Deepika's long and flowing cape from Payal Khandwala collections.



On the day before her first 68th Cannes International Film Festival appearance Katrina Kaif picked up a white crop top and skirt from MILLY creation with shoes by Manolo Blahnik and jewellery by Maria Francesca Pepe.Well, she seems to be raising the mercury quite high.

In the popular chat show, The Anupam Kher show Priyanka Chopra  came dressed in a beautiful Dior monochrome gown to the show with matching monochrome shows, which makes her look elegantly amazing.
One of her beautiful actresses from South, the Entertainment star Tamanna Bhatia was spotted promoting her film Humshakals in  a monochrome pencil skirt with matching 
crop tops. We like the fact that she has glammed up her look

with bright pink and red nail-paint and lipstick.Well we all 

know what her movie did in box office, but definately her 

looks are mesmerizing.. Yikes!

The upcoming style diva Athiya Shetty’s monochrome look might be simple and sombre, but the addition of those metallic kicks really make the whole outfit stand out. So, for days when you want your outfit to revolve around those brand new shoes, you know what you will be wearing!

The new fashionista of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut has also given us glimpses many times in her new sophisticated and quirky avatar. Whether it was a promotional event for her film Tanu Weds Manu Returns or exclusive Bollywood parties, Kangna showed up in the crop-top and skirt look teaming it with her statement curls or a smart updo.



  

 Well I could not help but mentions Deepika again in this list due to her recent much talked appearance, during her shoot life in US and Canada, where she went on a dinner date with world's number number one Tennis Player Novak Djokovic. Deeps make her presence felt while she was shot in LA in a Alexandar Macqueen Monochrome dress and a black cape by Yves Saint Laurent.The ankle strapped sandals and the Celine tote teamed well and looked classy with the dress. Her trademark red lips and the mid parted sleek hair-do definitely street style.
