Empties Post 1: Bath and Skincare products I have used up

After seeing so many videos of the trashed products in YouTube I thought that it’s that time to show you guys my trash! I’ve decided to split this round of Empties into 2 separate posts because there’s just too much to share in one post! Here I’ll be sharing all the bath, skincare and perfumes that I used up.

Clinique clarifying lotion - First of all its the big bottle of Clarifying Toner from Clinique for oily to combination skin, which well I took hell lot of time to finish at last. All I can say about this product, after using two big bottles, is it seems to clean the dirt from skin very effectively, whichever is left after face wash and also makes skin firm & tight with a little bit mattifying effect but its has got a little pungent smell which is kind of a problem not only for me but also for the man of the house who keeps on asking that whether I am drinking alcohol secretly every night!!!. Repurchase - No, I am going to try a new toner now.

Price  - Rs. 2035 for 400ml.

Nivea Whitening Body Deo - Well this one was may be my 6th o 7th bottle of deo from this range, I have been using it for like "infinity and beyond”. This one has got very mild smell unlike any other local deos so I prefer using it regularly after bath. Although I really doubt the "whitening" part has it been really quite a period since I have been using this and results are not that prominent, no I still cannot show off my underarms happily like Anushka Sharma did in the ad film of Nivea.Yikes!! Repurchase - Yes of course, even in my next visit to the supermarket.

Price  - Rs.179 for 150 ml.

The Body Shop White Musk Smoky Rose - I used up this EDT and loved it absolutely. It has got a floral musk smell, although I like fruity notes more than floral but this one was really different. The opening is fizzy, with berries and transparent floral. In the dry down it gets more vanillic, warmer, sweeter, sexier and muskier. The musk is soft and clean, not sharp or manly. The bottle in mauve is really attractive to vision. I just wish the smel lasted long. Repurchase - No, I like trying on new perfumes, do not prefer repetition in case of EDTs. 

Price - Rs. 795 for 250 ml.

Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure Moisture Kick Spray - Well I have been using this particular product for last two years. Yup! It took me two complete years to finish this bottle. I have got medium length chemically smoothened hair and sometimes I used to use this product before heat application, like straightener or dryer. It has added moisture to my hair during humid weathers when my hair tend to become like dry straws but in case of heat protection it does not seem to work much. Well it is not meant for that either. I used to that way because the bottle was with me for a very long time and I just wanted to finish it. The bottle itself is reusable and I am using it as a water spray bottle. Repurchase - No.

Price - 775 for 201 ml.



Vaseline Healthy White SPF - 24 - I used up the 5th bottle of this product. This time again I doubt the whitening effect of this particular product, no I did not notice any drastic change in my complexion even after using it for the 5th time, but yes this is a light moisturizer with SPF 24 and suitable for summer. I apply this one before going out to the sun and it really seem to work as I do not see the tan in my arms much. If you are in a beach or having a day out in constant exposure to sunlight then this may not be the right product to protect your skin, you should opt for the body sunscreen sprays with more SPF. Repurchase - Yes, I like the smile and it is a good light moisturizer for summer.

Aloe Vera Gel Apollo - Aloe Vera gel is quite handy in summer. I am always carrying them with me during my regular salon visits to use them after waxing and threading. It soothes the itching and rashes that are cause due to hot wax and plucking threads on your skin. I tend to change the brand and have used a lot of different aloe vera gel tubes, but this one seem to be cheap and is easy available in your medicine store. It has got a cooling sensation and is very effective on acne prone skin. I do not apply this on my face, but whenever I am getting back acnes or heat rashes, I reach out for aloe vera gel and it really suites me. Repurchase - No, may be this time I will try a new brand in aloe vera gel.
