Sephora Collection Mud Mask Purifying & Mattifying

When it comes to skincare, I have always liked trying on new products.I have never reviewed a face mask in my blog till date so thought of reviewing the one I am currently using. I haven’t tried a lot of Sephora skincare products yet, but I love their sleeping masks especially the pearl one. Last week I went in to purchase Keihls Turmeric and Cranberry seeds masque but then I decided to give this Sephora mud mask a go. And here’s my review on Sephora Mud mask. You get 2.03 oz(60ml) of Sephora mud mask for RM 80 (Rs.1360 approx.) However it’s not about the quantity, it’s about the quality.

My Views on it
I absolutely love the new clay masks formulation, they come off easy. Sephora Mud mask has a very chalky, but non-offensive scent, at least to me. I don’t mind different scents as long as they don’t linger. And obviously I’m going to wash it off. I will say though, it really sucks out the excessive oil from the pores. It’s very gentle, way gentle than any other exfoliating mud mask. If you are finding your current mask is drying your skin out or is too itchy, you can definitely give it a try.

Zinc is known to help calm the acne and reduce the inflammation that is caused by acne, this mask really helps to dry out the new pimple and can definitely be used as a spot treatment. Overall I love Sephora Mud mask. An additional tip, the reason I avoid buying full-size mud masks is, because they dry out before you can finish them, don’t throw away the air-tight seal, so it doesn’t go to waste.

I think it’s a great skincare product, and not just for the price. The texture is gritty, like mud obviously. But it’s soft at the same time. The texture of Sephora mud mask feels very much like Estee Lauder Clear Difference purifying and exfoliating mask. It gently removes the dead skin, cleans and unclogs the pores. If you’re looking for a good mud mask to add to your skincare regimen, definitely give Sephora Mud mask a go.
I actually really like the packaging as well. It doesn’t feel cheap or plastic. In fact it feels like good quality and it looks pretty too. It comes in a clear tub made of hard glass which holds the lumpy grey product.
