How to make and use dotting tool at home for nails

Step 1: Take a simple hair pin easily available at home.







Step 2: Spread open the hair pin with all your force. Trust me it requires enough force to do this J . You can use your boy friend for this job... ;)



Step 3: Choose two nail paints of contrasting colors. It is better if one of the nail paints is darker in shade than the other. Put two even coats of the nail paint (preferably the lighter shade) and let it dry completely.




Step 4: Dip the dotting tool (i.e. the hair pin) in the other nail paint you have got and place the dot on your nails carefully. It looks somewhat like this J


Step 5: Never forget to apply a top coat to your nail paint to make it stay longer. 



You can try your hand with various colors. And also you can use match stick or ball pen instead of hair pins to make the dotting tool. Got any more innovative ideas for the dotting tool???   • Hair pin
  • Light Blue nail color: Lakme Color Crush
  • Deep Blue nail color: Avon
  • Transparent top coat: Avon
